Tito Ambyo

Tito Ambyo is a data journalist, lecturer and media anthropologist. He published his first journalism article in 1998 as a highschool student going through the reformation period in Indonesia, and since then he has worked as a reporter, editor and producer for various media organisations, including eight years with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. Since leaving full time journalism in 2015, he joined the Journalism department at RMIT University to teach. He is now a member of the Digital Ethnographic Research Centre where he is doing his PhD in digital media and is a trainer with the Google News Initiative.
