Matias Hernan Amigo

I started working independently for five years in local productions, until in 2010 I joined the cable channel Somos Bahia, where I spent my working hours doing camera, editing, direction and production in different tv shows, in addition to making my personal projects, in which I highlight the documentaries "Historias bajo tierra", "veteranos aquí estamos" and "Mujeres de Rojo" these last two, winners of the ATVC award for best Latin American documentary in its category. Finally, in October 2018 I resigned from the channel in order to devote myself full time to advising and training people and companies, using my mobile phone as a main tool.
In 2015 I received from JCI (Junior Chamber International), the recognition for being one of the 10 most outstanding young people in the province of Buenos Aires (TOYP).
In May 2017 I traveled to Ireland to specialize in mobile journalism, since then I offer training in Argentina.
In January 2018, I published the first guide to mobile journalism, which had more than 15,000 downloads throughout Latin America.
In May 2018 I was the first Latin American to speak at Mojofest, one of the most important mobile journalism convention in the world.
Between September 14 and 16, 2018 I participated as a judge in the Smartfilms festival in Bogotá, Colombia.
In March 2020 I reissued the book "Guía de iniciación al periodismo Móvil" (Introduction to Mobile Journalism) with more than 20,000 downloads in Latin America.
Currently I provide training on mobile journalism and I am the Director of a multimedia platform called: wips.digital
