I spent most my journalism life in print, but recently made a documentary on a group of Asian-American kids doing theatre in Manhattan, New York. My early years in reporting were spent at Singapore's second-most-read newspaper TODAY, covering law, security, politics and health, where I was named Young Journalist of the Year in 2017.
